ALCONITE – guides with perfectly smooth ceramic rings made of aluminum oxide. Such rings help to increase casting distance and reduce friction by any braided line.
MULTI-TIP CONCEPT – Rods based on this concept are equipped with two tips for different purposes:
a) 1st Interline Tip (fishing line runs inside the blank) – for fishing at depths up to 100m – a powerful blank construction due to equal load distribution.
b) 2nd tip with classic rigging (LC guides frame) is ideal for fishing at depths of more than 100m where the quick sinking of a lure is more important than power characteristics of a blank. Each rod of this series is supplied with two tips which makes it really universal in the very best sense of the word. If you have lost or broken one tip, you can continue fishing using the second one. In fact, you will get two rods in one.
SIC – Guides are available with silicon carbide rings (SIC), generally acknowledged as the best material to minimize friction. SIC rings increase casting distance up to 10% without any additional efforts and are suitable for both monofilament and braided lines.
N-GUIDE SYSTEM – features special guides’ placement for maximum casting distance. It suggests more frequent placement of micro guides on high feet. It helps to achieve better taper input and reduce resistance when braided
line is passing through the guides, so casting distance and accuracy can be optimized. Guides placement in accordance with this system can evenly distribute load along the blank.
POWERED GRIP CONSTRUCTION – the main idea of this construction is to ensure the perfect grip of a handle. It can be found on fishing rods designed to endure extreme loads, when it is important that handle will be reliably fixed in angler’s hand. A special perforation is applied to the upper part of a handle made from thick fine-pored neoprene (EVA) which ensures a perfect grip and helps to prevent a rod from twisting and sliding. This is especially important when you have a long and exhausting fight with a big trophy.
INTERLINE – In accordance with Interline concept the fishing line runs inside the blank with the help of a system of many inner guides. Such constructive engineering solution provides ideal load distribution over the blank under maximum pressure which significantly increases the reliability of a tackle. Another distinct advantage of Interline concept is a complete lack of any line twisting which is especially important during sea fishing with pilker or other jigging lures. NONSLIP COATING is a special coating that prevents angler’s hand from sliding off the fishing blank. Handle is coated by antifriction granules that help to prevent sliding and improve grip control.

SANDWICH CONSTRUCTION is a combination of several high modulus carbon fiber materials in one blank. C.W.P. (Carbon Wrapping Power Connection) is a special carbon fiber reinforced band at the lower outer part of tip section. This type of connection is used to increase stiffness, strength and bend reliability on the rods with Over Steek joint.
SST (SOFT SENSITIVE TIP) is a technology specially designed to increase rod sensitivity. It is used for blanks with fast and extra fast action. Blanks based on SST technology are characterized by stiff middle and butt sections combined with soft responsive and flexible tips (about 1/3 of a blank). On retrieve the soft tip is always engaged, and after hitting the bottom it ‘rebounds’ immediately into the angler’s hand letting him know about the touch of the bottom. What we generally expect from the ideal guides made from metal and ceramic is the increased potential of a fishing rod, reel and line. The newly developed ceramic is stronger than silicon carbide (SiC) and allows to reduce the size and weight of guides. New TORZITE guides are the best you can imagine! SiC guides have been the best ceramic guides since 1981. The discovery of a new TORZITE material in 2013 allowed to create guides of ideal shape and unique thinness. Due to incredible thinness of the new guide, its weight has been reduced and the inner diameter has been increased. Torzite guides weigh approximately 40% less than SiC guides. Together with titanium frame it makes the difference about 10%. Moreover, the inner diameter of Torzite guides is 15% more than the one of SiC guides. Torzite guides have more smoothly rounded shape that enables to increase an area of contact between the fishing line and the surface of a guide twice. Thereby, the pressure on a guiding ring is reduced by half compared with SiC guides. The shape of internal surface of Torzite guides help to protect fishing line.
KR-GUIDE CONCEPT (FUJI-JAPAN) - the main idea of this concept is to reduce resistance when braided line is flowing through the guides along the blank. “Fuji Kogyo Co. Ltd” engineers have studied thoroughly behavior of unreeled line cone and concluded that the first running guide from the reel side should not always be very big. The most important thing is to place it at a proper distance from the blank and at a right angle. The main idea is to keep the line away
from the blank in order to minimize friction, slow down vibrations of the line as quickly as possible owing to ‘short cone’, and at the same time to unload the tip using smaller guides. Such improved scheme of a line flow removes a
‘beating effect’ and overall decrease of weight reduces inertia of a rod, thus casting distance can be increased. A larger number of guides considerably improve sensitivity only because there are more points of contact between the line
and the blank and line oscillations are being transmitted to the blank via guide frames. Moreover, lower guide foot at a tip section brings line closer to the blank, so vibrations from the frames make a shorter distance to the blank and
therefore sensitivity increases.
3D-ZH GUIDE SYSTEM (KIGAN-KOREA) - Korean company ‘Kigan Industry Co., Ltd’ has introduced a new generation of guides - ‘Kigan 3D-ZH Guide’. Using a new technology of 3D press processing, engineers managed to create the most lightweight and durable frames. A complex profile of a frame maximizes stiffness and at the same time allows using less metal thus reducing total weight of end-product. When creating a frame design, the main task was to choose the right form to be used safely even with very thin and soft braided lines without any risk of tangles. When placing the guides in accordance with 3D-ZH Guide System, the task was to reduce resistance and let the line flow smoothly through the guides in order to increase casting distance and accuracy. More frequent placing of micro guides on the blank also helps to improve rod sensitivity.
TITANIUM FUJI SIC – ultra light and durable guides in titanium frame with silicon carbide ring material (SIC). Titanium is much lighter and stronger than stainless steel. Such guides are used on fishing rods based on modern high-modulus carbon blanks and help to minimize residual vibrations during casting. Guides with titanium frames reduce total weight of a tackle and optimize its casting characteristics. A set of TITANIUM FUJI SIC guides is comparable in
weight with one guiding ring made of stainless steel.
X-JOINT CONSTRUCTION is a special joint for spigot rods in which two sections are connected by means of a carbon tube insertion. This type of a joint doesn’t change the action and bend of a blank, providing maximum reliability, sensitivity, functionality and casting characteristics specific for one-section rods.
GOLD CERMET – heavy-duty cermet coated with TiN. Besides hardness, perfectly smooth surface and durability, it has very low weight. TiN is a high-tech golden colour alloy featuring extreme toughness, optimum fine granulation and low weight.
STRONG
Rack and ring rim has a special profile for increasing the strength characteristics.
LIGHT
A new super thin insertion ring. Compared to inserts, SIC is about 35% lighter. Due to the fineness of the insert, the inner diameter of the ring increased by 15%.
LOW FRICTION
Due to the correct shape of the ring insert, the pressure on the ring is halved compare to the classic SIC inserts. The correct shape of the inner surface of the ring insert reduces friction, which positively affects the casting distance.
ANTITWISTING TIP is a special “tang” design which prevents line overlap during casting. This top is designed in such a way that all possible tangles are sliding from the tip because of the spherical stiffeners, thereby avoiding any damages of a rod or loss of a bait.
K-GUIDE SYSTEM - is a similar but simplified version of KR-Guide Concept. Use of smaller guides with lower weight and their more frequent placement contribute to perfect rod performance. Guides placement in accordance with K-Guide System maximizes blank casting characteristics and helps to distribute load on retrieve.
SUPER SENSITIVE SYSTEM is a reel seat of a special design with elements made from various materials with good vibration characteristics (aluminum, carbon). It provides high rod sensitivity, informing an angler about every bottom touch, slight changes in lure action and about even the most delicate fish bite.
HIGH MODULUS NANO GRAPHITE FIBER is an exclusive high modulus carbon fiber material with minimum content of binder and unidirectional carbon fiber structure, which provide graphite of maximum density. As a result, we get an extremely lightweight blank combined with maximum strength and sensitivity.
MINI GUIDE SYSTEM is a modern concept which offers to use the smallest possible guides in order to minimize the total weight of a tackle. Since micro guides are placed very close to the tip section, a larger quantity of them is required for effective performance. But due to their extremely small sizes the total weight of all guides is less than the weight of standard sized ones and it has positive impact on rod functionality.

AT-GUIDE – the top priorities in the development of AT-Guide were lightness (weight reduction) and stiffness. Engineers have created a single leg guide, which has only 20% less strength than a traditional two-leg guide. AT frame was specially designed for ultra light fishing rods. The main idea of AT-Guide concept is to minimize weight of a set of guides for delicate rods in order to use their blank potential with maximum efficiency, minimize “parasitic” vibrations and allow blank to recover instantly after casting.
ZIRCONIA – A combination of a new type frame with heavy-duty zirconia rings makes “Kigan Zirconia” guides one of the best on the market. They feature extreme durability and fine granulation and exceed many types of ceramic rings in these characteristics.
SUPER SENSITIVE SYSTEM 2 – the blank is designed in such a way that its upper part gently expands downwards and goes into the handle due to a special transition-cone. Thus, the blank and the handle of the rod are one unit that significantly reduces weight and adds sensitivity to a spinning construction. A reel seat is mounted directly on the rod blank and it gives additional sensitivity to a spinning construction too.
WARM REEL SEAT is a reel seat specially constructed in such a way that all elements touched by an angler’s palm are made from “warm” materials such as cork or EVA. It makes fishing more comfortable especially in cold weather conditions.
